Pet Photo Guide
A few simple tips for the best possible portrait.
What Makes a Great Photo
- Good, natural lighting — daylight near a window is ideal
- Taken at your pet's eye level, rather than shooting down from above
- Clear focus on the face, with the eyes visible
- A high-resolution image — most modern phone photos work well
What to Avoid
- Blurry or very dark photos
- Heavy filters or screenshots
- Faces partly hidden or turned away from the camera
Not Sure About Your Photo?
Upload it anyway. Our process works best with a clear photo, but if anything needs adjusting we'll let you know, and you'll always get a digital proof to approve before we print. We make revisions until you're happy.
